You Have Learnt About Anadin, Now Lets Look At Aspirin.

Hi Guys,

Today I am going to talk about Aspirin.

www.tumblr.com

There are lots of claims about Aspirin

A new study claims aspirin could be a powerful weapon against cancer and espescially lung cancer.

Aspirin is the common name for acetylsalicylic acid - a painkiller which can be traced back to Greek times.

It is an established treatment for heart disease patients because it makes blood less 'sticky', helping to prevent the formation of blood clots in the artery which can lead to a heart attack.

Because of this it is already taken daily by more than two million angina sufferers in the UK to protect against further attacks and against strokes.

Thousands more take it to ward off heart disease.

The question is "Is Aspirin A Wonder Drug We Should Be Taking Evert Day?"

Doctors warn that long-term or high dosage use of aspirin can, in rare cases, cause irritation to the stomach lining, stomach ulcers and bleeding.

Lung cancer is the second most common cancer in the UK.

In most people it is related to cigarette smoking, although some people who have never smoked get lung cancer

About 35,000 people die of lung cancer in the UK each year.

New evidence from America claims aspirin could be the latest weapon against lung cancer.

Scientists from New York University School of Medicine claim that the painkiller could cut the chance of developing lung cancer by 50 per cent.

Heart Disease.

Heart disease is the result of the formation of a blood clot in the coronary artery which obstructs the flow of blood to the heart which can lead to heart failure.

More than two million people in the UK suffer from the heart condition angina - the most common symptom of coronary heart disease.

There is strong clinical evidence to show that aspirin thins the blood, making blood cells known as platelets less sticky and less likely to bind together into life-threatening clots.

Research shows aspirin reduces deaths in high-risk patients by 27 per cent.

A low dose of aspirin a day (one small tablet or 75-100mg) is proven to help prevent heart attacks in high-risk patients.

Always consult your GP to assess if you should be taking aspirin regularly.

He knows your medical history and can assess whether it is safe for you to take.

I hope you found this useful and can see the difference between Anadin, which was discussed in the last blog and Aspirin.

I will speak to you again tomorrow,

Is Taking Anadin Safe?

Hi Guys,

Today I will be looking at "Is Taking Anadin Safe?"

 www.chemist2go.co.uk

Firstly I want to look at how anadin works.

Anadin paracetamol tablets contain the active ingredient paracetamol, which is a simple painkilling medicine used to relieve mild to moderate pain and fever.

Paracetamol is also available without a brand name.

Despite its widespread use for over 100 years, we still don't fully understand how paracetamol works to relieve pain and reduce fever.

There are many brands and forms of Anadin Paracetamol.

Do not use more of this medication than is recommended.

The maximum amount of acetaminophen for adults is 1 gram (1000 mg) per dose and 4 grams (4000 mg) per day.

Acetaminophen is the generic name for anadin.

An overdose of Anadin Paracetamol can cause serious harm.

If a person accidentally or intentionally takes a very large dose of aspirin at one time, it's called an acute overdose.

Your doctor will be able to give you advice as to whether it is safe for you to take anadin.

Some people tend to confuse anadin with aspirin, so tomorrow I will be looking at aspirin.
Speak to you tomorrow,

Stephen Hart

Probiotics: Are They Good For You?

Hi Guys,

Today I want to talk a bit about Probiotics.

www.guardian.co.uk

You have no doubt heard about Probiotics, but what are they and are they any good?

Probiotics are actually LIVE BACTERIA.

Most people think of antibiotics and antibacterial products when you mention bacteria

Both of those kill bacteria so why would you want to consume anything that has live bacteria in it?

Our digestive systems naturally has good and bad bacteria in it.

Getting the correct balance between the two is vital for optimal health.

Things like medication, diet and disease can upset the balance.

Although your body is pretty effective at handling these imbalances, it sometimes needs a bit of extra help.

Sometimes you get what is called a gut feeling when something is not right.

A "gut feeling" or a "gut reaction" to something is a description of a sense you have about it without knowing why.

A gut feeling is like a second brain.

Its role is to manage every aspect of digestion in all the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and colon
 .
This complex ecosystem contains over 400 bacterial species.

Small amounts can be found in your stomach and small intestines, but the majority is found in your colon.

It is this system that aids in digestion, synthesize vitamins and nutrients, metabolize some medications, support the development and functioning of the gut, and enhance the immune system.

How do Probiotics help you?

Probiotics are believed to protect us in two ways.

The first is the role that they play in our digestive tract.

The other way that Probiotics help is the impact that they have on our immune system.

Some believe that this role is the most important.

Our immune system is our protection against germs.

Sometimes you immune system can get out of balance, but Probitoics help you to regain the balance.

Our immune system can benefit anytime that balanced is restored, so it's never too late.

In summary, Probiotics are a great way of balancing your immune and keeping you healthy.

Although they are bacteria, they are good bacteria and are therefore good for your health.

I hope you found this article useful.

I will speak to you again tomorrow.

What Is Hidden In Your Food?

Hi Guys,

Today I would like to speak about hidden chemicals contained in food.

rawfit.com.au

Today I’ll expose some of the hidden dangerous food additives that are lurking in so-called “healthy” foods.

You will be SURPRISED.

BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene): this common additive used to prevent oxidation in a wide variety of foods and cosmetics is listed by the National Toxicology Program (NTP).

It is also used in jet fuels, rubber petroleum products, transformer oil and embalming fluid.

HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup : Loaded with unbound fructose and glucose molecules, studies have shown that the reactive carbonyl molecules can cause tissue damage that may lead to obesity, diabetes, and also heart disease.

Yellow #5: Almost all colorants approved for use in food are derived from coal tar and may contain up to 10ppm of lead and arsenic.

Propylene glycol alginate (E405): this food thickener, stabilizer, and emulsifier is derived from alginic acid esterified and combined with propylene glycol.

Propylene glycol is used for de-icing runways!!!

Textured soy protein concentrate, carrageenan, maltodextrin, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, modified cornstarch: All of these are basically different names to hide ingredients that either contain Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) or form MSG during processing.

The ingredients I have listed above are readily available in a lot of every day foods.

The manufacturers try to disguise them because they know that if you new they were in the food, you would most probably never touch it.

They ruin your health, but the Governments do not seem to be doing anything about it.

They do not bring your attention to these harmful ingredients.

The manufacturers use them because they are CHEAP.

Why use a more expensive product when they can get away with using cheaper ingredients.

The manufacturers are more interested in your money than your health.

Just be very careful what you eat today.

I will speak to you again tomorrow.

Change Your Life To Stay Slim

Hi Guys,

Today I want to talk about making changes to your life to stay slim.

www.dailymail.co.uk

Apart from giving birth or moving house, losing weight can be one of the most difficult things to do.

You can become a woman possessed when it comes to losing weight.

It is always on your mind, you get hungry, tired, irritable  and you just wish it was over.

After months of effort you finally get to the weight you want to be.

You do not want to go though all that again.

Let us look at ways that you can stay slim

The first thing is not to go back to your old eating habits.

You do not want to put on weight and then go through the trauma of dieting again.

Try and stick to the diet you were on to help you lose weight.

It is these habits that keep you fit and healthy

Having been on a diet for a while, you should have gotten more used to eating healthy foods.

Do not be tempted to back to the foods that made you put on weight.

They are highly addictive.

They are more addictive than smoking.

Once they have got you hooked again it will be very difficult to give up again.

You do not want to go back to where you were before you started dieting.

Stick to the new your new way of life and enjoy being slim.

The world is suffering from an obesity epidemic, do not become the next victim.

I will speak to again tomorrow.

Weight Loss Traps For Women

Hi Guys,

Today I will be talking about weight loss traps for women.

The biggest problem with women trying to lose weight is their overall approach to weight loss.

They tend to focus on the short term goals and neglect the long term goals

Most women restrict their calories too much too soon.

You need to change the way you approach weight loss.

When a woman is trying to lose weight she seems to ficus on the foods she cannot eat.

You will get a better mind set if you think about the foods that you CAN eat.

Focus on eating more healthy foods such as fruit and vegetables and forget the highly processed foods and those that contain refined sugar.

It is these that are putting weight on you.

Try and forget about them.

The less you think about them, the less tempted you will be to eat them.

You have to start thinking what you can eat and not what you cannot eat.

This will make the diet less of a burden on your mind.

Clean foods are innately more satisfying and less calorie dense than processed, boxed, and overly sugared foods, allowing you to eat more food, while eating fewer calories.

You can also change your mind set to how many calories you can eat.

If you feel that you need to eat a bit more then do some exercise beforehand.

This will burn up some fat and eating will not have such a great impact on weight gain.

Be careful however not to eat to much.

A 30 minute walk will only burn around 200 calories or to put it another way, the same calories in 2 biscuits.

Walking for about an hour a day every day will burn off just under a pound of fat a week.

Think about that before you decide to have your next treat.

Try and get out of the habit of rewarding yourself.

All you end up doing is putting back on the weight you have tried so hard to lose.

One advantage of doing exercise each day is that it will increase your metabolic rate, which in turn burns more calories.

In summary, focus on your long term goal of weight loss, do not give yourself treats and try and get more exercise.

Making these changes to the way you live your life will help you look and feel fitter.

I will speak to you again tomorrow.

The Truth About Your Bottom.

Hi Guys,

Today I am going to talk about your bottom again.

www.essentialapparel.com

Many people  want to slim their bottom.

It seems to be an ongoing problem for a lot of women.

Their butt gets bigger before anything else.

They therefore want to spot reduce their bottoms.

They check the internet for ways to reduce the size of their behinds.

They look into special diets that are supposed to help.

They waste money on courses that promise to do this.

The bad news however is that:

You Cannot Spot Reduce Your Bottom.

The programs that tell you that you can, do not tell you that it involves lots of hard work.

They do not point out that you will have to go on a calorie controlled diet

That is the only way to lose weight on your bottom.

The diet will make you lose weight all over your body.

Nature arranged that for you.

It is in your body's natural make up.

It is stored in your genes when you were born.

The first place that women will store fat is on the hips and bottom.

It is essential for child birth.

Your body is set up to produce children.

It is how the human species survives.

Some women do tend to put more weight on their hips and bottoms than others, but it is something you just have to live with.

You cannot spot reduce you behind any more than you can spot reduce the size of your nose.

The only way that you can reduce the size of your bottom is by losing weight from all over your body.

Unfortunately, if you have a naturally large bottom, this will be one of the last places you will lose weight from.

You can improve the look of your bottom through exercise, which will help to lift and tone it,  but utimateley to reduce the size you WILL HAVE TO DIET.

I know this is not the news you want to hear,  but I do not want you to waste you money on programs that claim you can reduce your behind without diet and/or exercise.

Remember to read all the small print very carefully if you do decide to sign up to a program that claims it can reduce the size of your behind.

Speak to you again tomorrow.
