Get Rid Of Your Scales Today!!!

Hi Guys,

Today I would like to talk a bit about the obsession people have about weighing themselves all the time.

direct.asda.com

Everyone these days seem to be so obsessed with how much they way.

They worry if the have put on an extra pound

What they should be more concerned about is have you put on any fat

You cannot determine if you have put on any extra fat just by weighing yourself.

Relying on your Body Mass Index is no help either.

What you should be more concerned about is are you putting on more fat

Using scales is not a very good way of doing this.

The best way to do this is to look at yourself in the mirror just after you have had a bath or shower when you have not got any clothes on.

If you have got more fat then your body will tend to look saggy

If you have put on more muscle your body will look firmer.

That is because your muscles provide more support.

The only draw back is that muscle weighs twice as much as fat.

So you can weigh more but still have lost fat.

So as you can see, weight does not tell you how much fat you have put on.

Try jumping up and down in front of a mirror after a bath or shower.

Does you body ripple?

If it does then chances are it is the fat.

If it does not then you have good muscles.

Two people of the same height and weight can look so different.

That is because the person with more muscle will look slimmer.

Muscle IS heavier than fat.

But you look slimmer.

The muscles help to support your weight.

Therefore do not rely on what you weigh, rely on how you you look.

The best way to do this is to ditch the scales.

I hope now you can see how weight can be very misleading as to how much fat you have.

I hope now you can see the difference between how much you weigh and how much much fat you are carrying.

Regards,

Stephen Hart.
