Hi Guys,

There are still a few things that need to be done.

Today I want to look at adding images to your ebook.

The first thing you need to do is find suitable images that you want to add to your ebook.

When you have found an image you like the save the image into your project folder in the ebook images folder.

You will also need to save the image source information .

You will have the legal right to use these images so long as you reference the source of the image.

As you can see below the image above I have referenced to image location.

This is where the image originally came from.

You can find this information by going to the original image location  and right clicking on the image.

This will open an information dialogue box.

In the box you will find the URL of where the image originally came from.

You need to copy this information for that image into your image source folder in your project folder.

Make sure that you keep the information along side the image number as to which image number it is going to be.

So if it is your first image the put the information next to the words image one.

Do this for every image you use.

Having saved the information about your image, you now need to place on the web page.

Find a suitable blank are within your ebook to place your image.

Now place your cursor where you want to place the image.

Go to the top menu bar and click insert.

A drop down menu will appear.

Scroll down to picture and across to from file.

This will open a window.

Navigate to to the images folder within your project folder.

Click on the image you want to insert and click open at  the bottom of the box.

This will then insert the image into your ebook.

You can adjust the size by clicking on the image, hover your mouse over one of the green corner squares and drag your cursor to get the image to the size you want.

If you want the text to be along side the image, then double click on the image or right click, depending on what sort of computer you are using.

This will open a window.

Make sure the wrap button is selected at the top of this window.

Then select where you want the text in relation to your image and click on the appropriate button.

If you want to put some spacing around your image so it is not too close the the text, open the window again and click on the spacing buttons until you have got the image how you want it in relation to the text.

If you want to move the whole image then click on the image and and holding down the left mouse button you can drag it to where you want it.

Having put all you images in your ebook you will need to go back and adjust the formatting again to get rid of any white spaces at the start of your chapters.

The final thing that you need to do is add the resources or bibliography of the images.

Click you mouse in the last page of your ebook called resources/bibliography.

Now go back to your project folder and find the image sources folder.

Left click on the information in the folder to copy it and the paste it into your resources/bibliography page clicking you mouse where you want to place the information.

Well that is it for today.

A bit of a long one but now you have got the images in your new ebook.

Next time we will be looking at adding a title to your ebook.

Have a profitable day.
